The God of Thunder himself, Chris Hemsworth, posted a photo Sunday with his on-screen brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) “selling papers” while filming on set of Thor: Ragnarok in Brisbane, Australia.
If you take a closer look, you can see the headlines telling of “Hammer Attack”, “Has Thor Returned?” and “Villain Loki Spotted”. Looks like Thor and Loki will be returning to New York after all. I’m sure Loki is weary of running into a certain big green hulk… (but seriously, Hulk is alllll up in this movie so the likelihood of having a Loki and Hulk reunion is pretty much guaranteed).
Writer Daley Pearson gave away another little nugget of gold yesterday with this tweet:

The card in Hemsworth’s hand appears to read “177A Bleeker St” … leading us to assume Dr. Strange will make an appearance in Ragnarok as well. This is likely to happen considering Dr. Strange will still be on audience’s minds, and we know how well Marvel handles expanding their shared universe. This will all feel so naturally cohesive in the first Avengers: Infinity War movie which can thankfully forgo most of these awkward or timely introductions of characters. Combining the powers of the cosmic with those of the mystic is exciting territory for the MCU we haven’t fully seen just yet!
We also got a glimpse today of Anthony Hopkin’s Odin. Looks as if he’s been to hell and back but had a wicked time! Or maybe he’s filming the sequel to Hobo with a Shotgun?
By the hammer of Thor! This third installment looks like it’s on the right rainbow bridge of surpassing expectations and becoming the first genuinely good Thor movie we’ve yet to have.
