Recently growing in popularity with passholders, the unofficial ‘Monorail Crawl‘ has been a unique take on enjoying the different offerings from the resorts surrounding the Magic Kingdom.

The trend has caught on, and now Walt Disney World Resorts has officially announced the new Highway in the Sky Dine-Around; an all-new experience where Disney takes care of the travel plans so you can sit back and enjoy this culinary journey. Guests will receive priority boarding on the monorail while they circuit between  Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

The first stop on the journey is The Wave…of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Here you’ll receive a welcome cocktail and then you’ll head on over to Disney’s Polynesian Resort to taste some of the South Pacific with island-inspired sips and appetizers.

Transitioning from island-life to elegance, you’ll then hop back on the monorail to Citricos at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Here you’ll get to enjoy a sumptuous entrée with wine pairings, and then sample some artisanal cheese while sipping on sparkiling wine in their beautfil lobby.

Of course, in true Disney style, there has to be a grand finale. The journey ends where it begins, back at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. On a private patio overlooking Cinderella’s Castle, you’ll be treated to desserts, cordials and coffee while enjoying the Magic Kingdom’s nightly fireworks display.

Beginning December 2nd, the Highway in the Sky Dine-Around will be offered on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The cost is $150 per person (includes gratuity and valet parking!). You can make reservations by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
