Netflix continues world domination. Dave Chappelle will premiere three stand-up specials on the streaming service.

This is part of the “comeback” that even Chappelle himself seemed confused of the wording for when hosting SNL just over a week ago. One of the specials will be a Netflix original and the other two were previously filmed in 2015 and 2016, but never aired. All three will be released at the same time in 2017.

Chappelle has only recently began to make appearances in the public conscious again after an extended break; when he suddenly and very publicly left his outstanding sketch series The Chappelle Show. I have personally been a fan of his stand-up since I came across Killin’ Them Softly back in 2000. I once stayed at a Hard Rock Hotel a few days after Chappelle had stayed there and heard a story about him ordering three mushroom pizzas. When the bartender asked him if he was sure he wanted three pizzas, Chappelle responded with: “Yeah man… there is always room for mushroom pizzas” while rubbing his belly.

I can’t think of a better way to end this article.
